Any home schooling parents???

My 12 year old (7th grader)is way out of control. She is failing all of her classes, makes out with boys, forges her teachers signatures and skips classes. She sneaks behind my back and has boyfriends. Her room is a mess, she shoves all of her dirty clothes back in her drawers along with half eaten food and everything else. I have tried EVERYTHING! All she cares about is having fun with her friends! She has been exposed to pot and said she did not smoke it but her friends did. I am not so sure. I am so afraid at this rate she is going to get pregnant and be a hs drop out. My husband and I both have college degrees and I have taken some education classes. I really think we should home school her. What do you think of that?

Go for it My Mom taught me and my brother for 3 yrs I loved it !!! I wanted to do home school! My brother on the other hand didnt They started doing it because of him he started failing classes all but gym and hanging out with the wrong crowds! He didnt like it ! But it helped him then we moved and mom gave him another chance she said I%26#039;ll give you to progress reports not even report cards to pass your classes or I am pulling you out! He made friends with better people and made the honer roll! Later on he told mom that before he was called class clown and class clowns dont do work!But Make sure that its a good school system some is more excepted then others if you want to later on put her back in ask your school what ones are accepted!You could teach her awhile and if she behaves let her go back as long as she does good!

I don%26#039;t know if that would solve the problem..she might send you to a early grave !

Try to find out what is going on with her first. Don%26#039;t give up and see what other solutions could be applied.

She might resent you mightily if she is forced to stay at home you know and might give you hell.

I don%26#039;t know and I would not like to be in the same situation but I am not sure if keeping her at home, doors locked and all, would tame her either. Might make it worse........just consider that !

A homeschool family I know had exactly the same problem. They brought their daughter home in middle school. It turned their daughter completely around. Their daughter has now graduated and is a solid Christian lady. She will be the first one to tell you that homeschooling saved her life.
