I%26#039;m leaving for Tamale, Ghana in Feb, 2007 to work as a Volunteer teacher. I would like to know what basic needs/materials are not affordable and available in the area. I would like to minimize my baggage to the essentials only ...so PLease help me. I%26#039;m particular with food rates, transpo, school supplies, clothes, computer prices, entertainment gadgets like TV and radio, water and electricity, laundry practices, household supplies and groceries.
Can anyone tell me what basic tools are not easily available in Tamale, Ghana?
You could ask the aid agency Oxfam or a similar organisation.
