Calculus Rates?

Two teams are playing football, Bishop Ahr and SP. The SP's running back, Hugh, is on the Bishop Ahr%26#039;s 40 yd. line. He is running toward the end zone along the Bishop Ahr sideline at a speed of 30 ft/sec. The football field is 59 yds wide. SP%26#039;s caoch is standing on the 40 yd line opposite Hugh, screaming at him to move? How much time does Hugh%26#039;s math teacher have to calculate this before Mitchell scores?

I don%26#039;t get this question at all, plus I know nothing about football. Anyone who can solve this, WITH THE WORK, would help me greatly.

Thanks so much!!

Who is Mitchell?

All I could think of is that he has 40 yards to run, since he is running along the sideline. That is 120 feet. And at 30 feet/sec that%26#039;s going to take him 4 seconds.
